I got this recipe from Bloggingitswhatsfordinner.

2 cups sugar
1 1/4 cups Karo syrup (light)
3 cups whipping cream

* chopped pecans, optional (personally, I like them better without nuts)

Bring sugar and Karo syrup to a boil – to dissolve sugar. Add cream one cup at a time, bringing to soft ball stage after each addition. Butter a 9 x 13 pan. If you are adding nuts, sprinkle the bottom of the pan with chopped pecans now. Pour caramel into pan. Let cool completely and cut into squares.
