Double Chocolate Mint Brownies

These have a green frosting.  Pretty for St. Patrick’s day.

Ingredients:

2 squares of butter
2 cups of sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
2 cups of flour
1/3 cup of cocoa
1/2 tsp. of salt
1 cup of coarsely chopped walnuts

Mix together and bake at 350 for 45 minutes in a 9×13 pan.

Cool completely and then frost with Mint Filling (below)

Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips and 1 tsp. vegetable oil in the microwave 30 seconds at a time until smooth.

Drizzle over the top of the mint filling.

Allow the frostings to set and then cut into squares and enjoy!  –Hub Cafe.

Mint Filling:
2 cups of powdered sugar
1/2 cup of softened butter
1 Tbs. milk
1 to 2 tsp. mint flavoring
3 drops of green food coloring.
